Fighting Faux Pas?

I know. It's not the Leafs. But, what am I going to write about, with a week between games? Clarke McArthur's impending return? The ongoing saga of Mr. Glass (Tim Connolly)?
No. Today I thought I'd touch on the fight between the Pittsburgh Penguins' Aaron Asham and Washington Capitals' Jay Beagle.

Now, I know there is a rule against taunting. But it is a minor penalty that should be called on the ice. I don't think this is a suspendable offense.
Lots of tough guys have done similar things in the past and faced no recourse.
Remember this:

Didn't we all love it when Tie Domi took the title from Bob Probert?
Well, apparently Marty McSorley now has a problem with Asham making the "beddy-bye" gesture. Says tough guys should respect each other. Yes, this Marty McSorley:

What part of respecting your opponent is that, Marty?
I think it is just plain, old, heat-of-the-moment fun! Asham had just won a fight! He's amped! Sure, it might not be the classiest thing to do, but it sure is entertaining!
In fact, I would like to see more of it! And more elaborate, too! Think, Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco-style celebrations. Asham should have pulled a pillow and nightcap from under his jersey. Ya! That's what I'm talking about!
A "beddy-bye" gesture? It's much ado about nothing.
