Waffling On The Leafs

I know, I know... it's been awhile.
What can I say? Every conceivable hope I had for this hockey club has been effectively crushed by the reality that is the 2010-11 Toronto Maple Leafs.
I won't lie, it's bleak. I honestly can see no light in the darkness. I have, however, been shown a new direction.
I don't know who threw "the waffle" the other night, but I love it! The waffle is the perfect symbol for The Toronto Maple Leafs and I wish that every discontent Leaf fan would throw waffles after every uninspired performance.
Not losses, mind you. That would be overkill, and extremely expensive. Just have your waffles ready for every game when the players float around, fail to engage and refuse to go to the tough areas.
It's perfect. The players hate it. It is the fans way of coaching. I love it.
Please, Toronto. I urge you to adopt waffle-tossing as your own. We've missed out on the octopus, we rarely get to throw hats and we don't sing. Do not let the waffle-toss pass us by!
